Sandra Mozo González nació en la Ciudad de México en 1980, siendo hija de padres originarios del estado de Guerrero. Desde temprana edad, mostró un gran interés por el folclore mexicano, dedicándose a la danza durante aproximadamente 30 años de su vida.
Inició sus estudios en la Licenciatura en Danza Folclórica Mexicana, alcanzando el cuarto semestre. Formó parte de diversos grupos, incluyendo el Grupo Artístico Mexicano Macuilxochitl, bajo la dirección de Javier Bejarano, y el Ballet del Estado de México, dirigido por Dolores Menchaca, entre otros.
Sandra se enorgullece profundamente de sus raíces y de su labor como maestra de danza. Dirige dos grupos, Yaocihuatl y México en la Piel, donde tiene la oportunidad de transmitir su conocimiento y amor por la Danza Folclórica Mexicana a sus alumnas. Valora la oportunidad de enseñarles a apreciar la belleza de México a través de la danza.
Para Sandra, sus alumnas son su mayor orgullo. Disfruta viéndolas bailar, sonreír y disfrutar, y se siente gratificada al verlas darse cuenta de que nunca es tarde para aprender y que nada es imposible cuando se tiene pasión y determinación.
Sandra Mozo González was born in Mexico City in 1980, the daughter of parents from the state of Guerrero. From an early age, he showed great interest in Mexican folklore, dedicating himself to dance for approximately 30 years of his life.
She began her studies in the Bachelor's Degree in Mexican Folk Dance, reaching the fourth semester. He was part of various groups, including the Mexican Artistic Group Macuilxochitl, under the direction of Javier Bejarano, and the Ballet of the State of Mexico, directed by Dolores Menchaca, among others.
Sandra is deeply proud of her roots and her work as a dance teacher. She directs two groups, Yaocihuatl and México en la Piel, where she has the opportunity to transmit her knowledge and love for Mexican Folk Dance to her students. For Sandra, her students are her greatest pride. She enjoys watching them dance, smile and enjoy themselves, and feels gratified to see them realize that it is never too late to learn and that nothing is impossible when you have passion and determination.
